Everything about our experience was top shelf, and saved us a considerable amount of money after having it at a dealership for a long period of time without ever finding out what the total cost was going to be.

After more than two months at the dealership without work done or a final cost estimate, Action Transmission developed a complete estimate including videos with commentary less than 24 hours after the vehicle arrived on a tow truck.  I approved the pricing, and the vehicle was completely finished and ready for us to pick up on the 6th day from when it arrived and five days after I approved the work—and that included some additional work that only manifested itself once the car could be driven.  That part took an extra day or it would have been finished even sooner.

They also figured out another repair issue that isn’t part of their normal work to repair that I asked them to look into.  They assessed it and gave me the information, including the name and location of the part in question, to take to our general repair mechanic.

The repairs needed were not simple and significant damage had occurred as mounting brackets for the the drive shaft were ripped from under our vehicle and the sway bar broken in half.  Whereas I never did receive an estimate from the dealership for that work, Action took it in stride and did a fantastic job of welding reinforcements to the damaged locations and of course that was part of the overall repair.

I have no way of knowing the total amount Action Transmission saved us, but from the pricing that had been given to us at the dealership for only a portion of the work, I’m fairly confident the savings is in the order of a couple of thousand dollars—and they knew exactly what needed to be done instead of the constant guessing and kicking the can down the road.

This business is the best! They took excellent care of my car and found the problem with it so fast. I loved how they kept in contact with me, asked me questions about what happened and any other information that might be helpful. Kept an amazing record of what they did and what cost went where.
